Tablelands Family Day Care Scheme is situated at 95 Kennedy Hwy, TOLGA and employs four (3) staff - One (1) Manager, One (1) Co-ordinator/Educational Leader and one(1) Administration officers. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Nominated Supervisor/ Manager - Christopher joined Tablelands Family Day Care Scheme in September 2002. Previous to this Christopher lived in Ingham for 18yrs & worked as an Assistant Director at Ingham Early Learning Centre for 8 years. After accepting the position as Manager & with a background in early childhood, his role with Tablelands FDC includes managing, recruiting, supporting and monitoring Educators, monitoring children's progress, marketing and promoting the Scheme, National Standards & Early Years Learning Framework, preparation and policy review and assisting the team in making the Scheme one which prides itself on professionalism and responsiveness. Christopher has an Associate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Diploma in Business Management & a Certificate four (4) in Horticulture.
Administration Manager - Amanda has been with Tablelands Family Day Care since 1999 after completing a Diploma in Business Administration. She joined the team as a casual administration assistant and after sometime became the scheme's Administration Manager - a role she has held for the last 9 years. Amanda is responsible for the processing of child attendance records, payment of the Child Care Benefit, Educator payments, processing families paperwork, data entry and general reception/office duties. Amanda also has a Diploma in Business Management.
Educational Leader - Emma joined the team early 2016. She is 26 years old and has lived on the Tablelands all her life. She has worked in long day care centres for 10 years and has done some governessing on a station. Emma has a passion for children and loves working with them as they learn and discover. As the Co-ordinator/Educational Leader for the Tablelands Family Day Care, Emma’s primary role is to monitor and support the Educators in their delivery of a quality educational program for the children in their care within a safe and nurturing environment. Emma is also involved in Educator recruitment and re-registration, organising of play sessions, placement of families with Educators and assisting the Manger with policy updates and rating and assessment procedures. Emma has a Diploma in Children’s Services, a Diploma in Management and a Diploma in Business.
